How does it work

  • Self evaluation compared to 360° evaluations performed by the manager's entourage filling an online questionnaire based on Wevalgo Leadership style and quality model
  • Three types of 360° evaluators depending on their relationship with the manager: superiors, peers or subordinates
  • Evaluators selected by the manager purchasing the service with a simple form
  • Evaluators invited by sending them an email with the Wevalgo website link
  • Evaluators fill the questionnaire online; the manager purchasing the service can follow up the evaluations status
  • Results visible as soon as the evaluation is finished; many analysis reports are provided depending on the option selected. See « Result example » section.

Service key concepts

  • We have developed the Leadership evaluation model to enable managers to understand and improve their Leadership style, quality and communication skills effectiveness
  • Our model is based on the main Leadership theories of the past century. In particular the Blake and Mouton managerial grid (1964) and the Transformational leader fundamental dimensions developed by Bernard Bass (1985).
  • Our own experience lead us to update and make these theories more pragmatic by applying them to concrete activities grouped in the five main managerial categories and by evaluating the leadership drivers rather than their result. This enables the evaluated manager to identify clearer and more actionable improvement plans

Result report

The result report is accessible once the evaluations are completed and contains graphical and text results. There are two options defining the level of analysis details displayed in the report.

A modern and pragmatic Leadership style and quality model

We have developed our own Leadership styles and quality model, building on main Leadership science, in particular the Blake et Mouton (1964) managerial grid and on the transformational Leader developed by Bernard Bass (1985).
From our management consulting experience with hundreds of organiations we have identified three key learnings enabling to modernise these theories:
  1. The managerial grid dimensions are adapted in two ways:
    • the « human relationship importance » is specially relevant when applied to the people involvement in the thought, decision and organisation solutions building activities,
    • the « production importance» dimension is put into the context of the Leader personal implication, enabling to better grasp the concepts of direction, decision taking and role modeling.
  2. We focus more on the « Transformational Leader» than on their impact on the individuals qualities (idealized influence, inspired motivation, intellectual stimulation, individual consideration),
  3. These models can identify more actionable and tangible drivers, when consolidating and using them in a framework of management activities by category

Key steps

after purchase and activation of the service, the key steps are the following:

  • Self-evaluation by filling up the online questionnaire
  • Invitation of the selected participants who will evaluate you
    • Filling up of the details of the participants who will evaluate you: names, emails and type of hierarchical relationship between you and them (superior, peer or collaborator)
    • Sending of an invitation link (automatically generated) to the selected participants
  • Evaluations performed by selected participants, on the Wevalgo web platform
    • Participants connect to Wevalgo web site thanks to the link sent by the service manager
    • Participants answer on-line; you can follow up the answers progress status
  • Results available at the end of evaluations on the Wevalgo website

Recommended participants

For this evaluation we recommend the following participants: 

  • your direct line manager and ideally one or two other superiors
  • at least two colleagues closely working with you
  • at least two subordinates, preferably among your direct reports
